Local info of the area around Doodha Dhari Temple:

Doodha Dhari Temple is one of the famous Devi temples in Dehradun. Once pristine, the surrounding near the temple has now polluted due to human interference. A decade ago, the temple was peacefully snuggled in this lesser-known area of Doon. There were fewer homes and the temple premises remained clean and tidy.

Since the temple is nestled near the Rispana river, that gently flows alongside the temple area. People have confiscated the land to build their homes near the river, most of which are illegal. One can see plastic and polythene waste lying near the temple area.
