Brahmatal is a beautiful lake located in the depths of the great Himalayas in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. Brahmatal trek passes through beautiful valleys, small hamlets, amazing streams and oak forests.

The trekking route to Brahmatal is easy during summers. However, it becomes moderate during winters because of the snowfall. But if you want to experience the beauty of snow covered peaks then winters(not monsoons) would be good option.

The nearest airport is the Pant Nagar airport, which is approximately 34 km from Kathgodam. It has daily flights from New Delhi.
