Reaching Snow View Point by Cable Car:
Snow View Point can be reached via road and aerial ropeway. The cable car ropeway is the best and easiest way to reach Snow View Point, which only takes a few minutes to reach here.
The pick-up point for the cable car is in front of the Naini Lake, which is one of the most visited places in Nainital. The charges for two-way ticket are Rs. 300 for adults and Rs. 200 for children.
The cable car has glass on all sides, offering a beautiful view of nature and the city, as the trolley takes you upwards. The Snow View Point is located a little further from the drop-off point of the ropeway, which is a steep walk from here.
By Cab: If you have a fear of heights, you can hire the cab from Mallital to reach up to the Snow View Point. Other than this, you can also reach this place on horseback.
By Rail: Kathgodam Railway Station is the nearest railhead from Snow View Point. It is located at a distance of 35 km from Mallital Mall Road.
You can hire a private taxi or catch the local bus from the railway station to reach here. Upon reaching the Mallital Mall Road, you can either hire a taxi or take the ropeway.
By Air: Pantnagar Airport located about 72 km away from Mallital Mall Road is the nearest air connectivity from here. Cabs are easily available from the airport to Mallital via NH 109.
