Kaudiyala popular for long river rafting is a hush hamlet located near Rishikesh. Kaudiyala River Rafting Stretch

Kaudiyala also spelled as ‘Kodiyala’ has become a river rafting delight among the rafters. As white water river rafting is largely concentrated around Kodiyala and its banks. This 36 km stretch of Kodiyala is considered as one of the best whitewater rafting zones in the world.

In total there are around 12 exciting rapids namely Daniel Dip (III+), The Legendary, The Wall (IV), Return to Sender, Roller Coaster, Golf Course (III), Club House, Initiation, Double Trouble, Three Blind Mice (III+), Cross Fire (III) and Roller Coaster (III+). Rafters take the first break after crossing the first 18 km of the total stretch.

The first stretch covers small rapids and then move towards the other bigger rapids. This grade 4+ river rafting stretch in Rishikesh is one of the best river rafting points which gives an instant rush of adrenaline to the adventure lovers. One can also carry out body surfing and cliff jumping.

How to Reach Kaudiyala

Kaudiyala is a village and a rafting destination located about 40 km away from Rishikesh. It lies on the RishikeshBadrinath road showcasing beautiful landscape and foothills along. One can easily reach here by hiring a taxi or bus.

The tour operators will safely drop you at Kodiyala as the transportation cost will be included in the rafting or camping packages. Rishikesh railway station at 40 km is the nearest railhead. Jolly Grant airport at 59 km is the closest air connectivity from here.
